About us:
SWG Construction ( Build & Renovate) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and highly organised individual to join our Construction Team as a Construction Team Administrator. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects by providing comprehensive support to our on-site construction and office-based management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Construction Team, facilitating the smooth execution of projects.
- Support the contract management team in document preparation, scheduling, and coordination activities.
- Aid the compliance team with internal policies and industry standards by helping with necessary documentation and checks.
- Manage incoming calls, deliver outstanding customer service, and redirect enquiries as needed.
- Conduct inductions for new staff, ensuring they are fully briefed on company policies and project specifics.
- Keep records and files organised, both digitally and in hard copy.
- Work collaboratively with various departments to improve operational efficiency and communication.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in an administrative or support role, with a preference for experience in the construction sector.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the capability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication abilities, both in speaking and writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with desirable experience in project management software.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the capacity to work autonomously.
- A minimum of A Levels or an NVQ Level 3 qualification; further qualifications in business administration or a related discipline will be advantageous.
