Consultant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - Staff Wellbeing

To advise and participate in the development and implementation of policy and strategies relating to the psychological health of the workforce that will enhance staff well-being leading to delivery of high quality services in Northern Health and Social Care Trust. To develop, in consultation with the Head of Section, Director of Human Resources, and other members of senior management team, as appropriate, a clear vision for the delivery of well-being services within the Trust. To work in partnership with the Human Resources Department and Operational Managers to deliver these strategies. To ensure the systematic provision of a high quality clinical psychology assessment, intervention and consultation service to occupational health services across the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. To provide clinical and managerial supervision (as appropriate) to others working within Occupational Health and Well-Being services. To offer consultation and support to operational managers and others within NHSCT in the psychological formulation of staff issues which impact on Staff Wellbeing and service delivery. To ensure delivery of services in partnership with other services and teams within the Trust, other statutory services and 3rd sector services. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service, and to ensure that systems are in place and working effectively for the clinical and professional supervision and support of all other professionals within the service for which the postholder has a designated professional responsibility, including clear systems for effect recruitment, professional appraisal, and the identification of CPD needs across the service. As a major requirement of the job, to act as a highly specialist resource to the wider professional community and to carry out audit, policy and service development and research activities and/or programmes.
