Consultant Ecologist

A specailist built environment, sustainability consultancy, are seeking a Consultant Ecologist to join their Nature team. You will support on ecological surveying for a range of projects within London and the surrounding area.

You will be provided with the opportunity to engage on a wide variety of projects, matched to suit your expertise and skillset within a value driven organisation who only engage on projects that provide environmentally beneficial outcomes.

The role will suit an ambitious individual, with a background in UK ecological consulting, eager to join a highly dedicated consultancy team, working on a plethora of the UK's most exciting urban biodiversity projects!

Requirements

* 2 year's experience in UK Ecology Consultancy; multidisciplinary exposure is advantageous, not essential.
* Bachelor's degree in relevant field e.g., Ecology, Wildlife Conservation, Environmental Science etc
* Strong knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain, the statutory metric and report requirements.
* Survey expeience including; PEA, HRA, BNG, UKHabs, Protected Species etc
* Holding, or working towards, an EPSM licence is advantageous
* Understanding of UK ecological survey methodology and relevant report writing
