Who are we looking for and why work at Natural Power?

We are looking for a Consultant Ecologist to join our growing Onshore Ecology Team who are based at various locations in the UK and Ireland. We are a forward thinking, collaborative, dynamic and professional team who encourage individuals to maximise their potential and enable individuals to contribute towards the success of the Consenting & Environment Department. This is an opportunity to contribute to renewables projects, and work with a wide range of specialists from within Natural Power.

The role will involve:

  • management of ecological projects including survey resourcing/logistics, financial tracking etc;
  • undertake or lead ecology surveys, where appropriate;
  • preparation of a range of environmental reports;
  • preparation of ecology chapters for Scoping and Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs); and
  • preparation of Habitats Directive Appropriate Assessment reporting.

There is scope for the position to be home based, however an ability to easily visit our Stirling or Glasgow offices on a regular basis would be beneficial.
