Consultant Ecologist

My client, a market leading and innovative consultancy, are looking for Consultant Ecologists to join the team in time for the spring season, with space available to start as early as March. The opportunity is available on full-time permanent or a seasonal basis!

The Role

* Support senior consultants on a range of field-based projects.
* Engage and help on report writing, developing the ability to complete individually.
* Completion of ecological reports, including EIAs and Biodiversity Net Gain, and Habitat Assessments.
* Completion of habitat condition surveys & protected species assessments (EPSM licenses beneficial)
* Majority work will be field based, so ability to work long hours in the field essential.

Qualifications / Requirements

* 1-2 years’ experience on UK Ecological Surveying.
* Bachelor’s degree in relevant field e.g. Ecology, Environmental Science, Wildlife Conservation).
* Experience completing Phase 1 Habitat Surveys
* Holding, or working towards, EPSM License
* Ability to work long hours in the field.
