Consultant Social Worker Chad

Sirona Medical are recruiting for a Consultant Social Worker for the CHAD Team for a Local Authority in Stafordshire.

Job Role: This particular role is based within Staffordshire. The Consultant Social Worker will manage Police triage notifications after a change in policy by National Police Federation and the authorities local police.
The worker will follow the flowchart of the triage of the PPN referrals received at the front door. They will work in partnership with Staffordshire Police where rigour will be applied to ensure that there is effective signposting for these referrals. The aim will always be to ensure that wherever possible any support the family require will be triaged to levels 1 and 2 to avoid statutory the need for statutory intervention
In terms of management team – supervision is completed with Social Workers every 4 weeks (both case supervision and personal supervision), this is completed 1-1 by the team manager. In addition to that, we have team meetings at least once per fortnight and group supervision, guest speakers and peer review is part of these meetings on rotation. We also have full service meetings, learning sessions and team away days throughout the year.
Sirona Medical will be providing the Consultant Social Worker on an agency contract. 
This is a full time agency post 37 hours per week.
As a Consultant Social Worker, you must have a degree in Social Work, at least 3 years post qualified experience, Social Work England Registation.
