Contact Centre Agents - Belfast - Full Time

Join our client, Northern Ireland's leading public provider, dedicated to delivering high-quality services to the community. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join the Adelaide Contact Centre team in Belfast.

About the roles:

  • Position: Contact Centre Agent
  • Type: Full Time, 5-Month Contract (potential for extension)
  • Hours: 37 hours per week (5 days out of 7)
  • Location: Adelaide Contact Centre, Belfast
  • Rate of pay: £11.44 per hour
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Dynamic Environment: Work in a fast-paced and supportive team.
  • Hybrid Work Model: Initially centre-based with potential for hybrid working after training
  • Immediate Start: Begin your new role without delay

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Enquiries: Answer telephone enquiries promptly and provide accurate timetable and fares information
  • Customer Service: Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction
  • Complaint Management: Acknowledge and record customer complaints, ensuring they are handled efficiently
  • Ticket Reservations
  • Pass Renewals: Assist in the renewal process of Senior Smart passes
  • Administrative Support: Help administer Department for Infrastructure
  • General Enquiries: Respond to general enquiries and transfer calls to the appropriate departments
  • E-commerce Support: Handle enquiries related to e-commerce products
  • Digital Communication: Respond to customer enquiries through Live Chat and email

Criteria:

  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 1 year's experience in a customer service role OR possess WorldHost Level 2 accreditation
  • Communication Skills: Ability to complete forms and provide written responses to customer enquiries
  • Call Handling: Ability to manage a high volume of inbound calls and customer enquiries in a fast-paced environment
  • Educational Requirements: Minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths. Alternatively, demonstrate at least 2 years of relevant customer service experience.
