Job description

An experienced Content and Social Media Executive with at least 2 years of experience is needed to join the team at this leading professional Association for financial managers in the NHS based in Bristol on a full-time hybrid working basis. 

They are the professional body for finance staff working in healthcare. For over 70 years, they have provided independent support and guidance to their members and the wider healthcare community.

The selected candidate will be required to attend their Bristol office two days a week and report directly to the Senior Strategy and Content Manager. Some national travel may be required for this role.

About the Role

They are looking for an enthusiastic and confident content creator and Social Media expert to play a crucial role in telling the company's story through creative Content and maximising their engagement on Social Media

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on creation of on-brand, high quality and engaging digital content for their Social Media channels 
  • Attend in-person events throughout the year to capture video and photo content that supports their marketing activities
  • Work at pace to produce non-complex imagery, video and animations for Social Media channel
  • Ensure all content produced is consistently tailored to Social Media channels and ensure the company is leading the way across healthcare with innovative content on Social Media
  • Edit videos, images and podcasts to ensure they will catch the attention of their audiences 
  • Keep up with the latest trends in content production and Social Media, sharing case studies with the marketing team
  • Ensure a steady stream of content on X (Twitter) and LinkedIn, including scheduled content out-of-hours
  • Run effective paid social campaigns that generate revenue for the organisation through lead generation for their business development teams
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting on performance to the senior Content and strategy manager
  • Take an active role in creating content schedules that help their marketing managers and key stakeholders communicate their work and achieve their targets

Required Experience:

  • Good all-round education 
  • Degree or equivalent qualification preferred in a relevant field 
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a digital and communications role or similar 
  • Must have proven experience in running or managing Social Media business accounts
  • Current experience in content creation and Social Media for businesses 
  • Experience creating digital content using a range of tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) software 

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in coordinating filming at events 
  • Professional qualifications, e.g. DMI, CIM 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills 
  • Confident meeting, interviewing and communicating with people, including senior-level speakers and members 
  • Excellent understanding of Social Media reporting tools and Google Analytics
  • Good understanding of paid social campaigns on LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram 
  • Excellent written communication skills, including accurate use of English and the ability to write and proof concise, engaging content 
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills to meet deadlines 
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, email and the Internet 
  • Co-operative and supportive team player
