We are looking for a passionate and creative Content Creator to join our innovative team and help us build our media machine.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching ideating, presenting and producing high-impact content that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and expands our audience across social media platforms, including YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok; in line with Despatch Cloud's tone of voice and brand identity and aligns with our overall marketing strategy.
You'll be responsible for:
- Researching and building networks with a list of influencers and experts in line with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Presenting, filming and editing various types of creative and engaging content including (but not limited to) Podcasts, YouTube shorts, short-form explainer and informational videos, storytelling videos, customer interviews, cinematic videos and UGC/influencer-style videos, written blogs, infographics and graphical elements.
- Developing engaging scripts tailored to each platform and audience demographics.
- Owning and executing social media content from ideation to production to execution stage.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop a plan and schedule for content creation.
- Keep up to date with and utilise relevant industry news to our ICP
- Analysing performance data to identify trends, optimise content strategies, and refine engagement tactics.
- Engaging with viewers and followers on social media, responding to comments, answering questions, and fostering meaningful interactions.
- Monitoring and analysing social media trends and competitor strategies to stay ahead of the curve and enhance brand differentiation.
- Tracking and reporting on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the campaigns.
- Taking ownership of the social content calendar ensuring consistent and timely delivery across various platforms and aligning all activities with the overall marketing strategy.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in content creation and social media marketing.
- Comfortable being on camera.
- Proficient in recording and editing video content for social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of video production principles
- Creative individual with a passion for storytelling through visuals and narratives.
- Strong understanding of current digital marketing trends and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
- Ability to craft compelling scripts and engaging social media content that resonates with our ICP.
- Ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
- Ability to use design tools such as Figma, Canva or the Adobe Suite
- Able to write compelling blogs and articles.

Location:
Hybrid (Mixture of days between work at our Driffield based office and home)

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
