Content Creator Apprentice - Office Based

We are looking for a Junior Content Creator Apprentice to join our busy marketing team in Walsall.

You will be trained in all areas of digital content creation; from producing eye-catching images and videos, to helping out with our social media strategy. As well as on-the-job training, you’ll be working towards the Content Creator Level 3 qualification.

Whether you’re just starting out, or looking for a career change, this role will give you a fantastic grounding for your future career in digital content creation.

• Salary / hourly rate (NMW)
• Walsall, WS1
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 – 17:00 with a 1 hour unpaid break

Job Role:

You’ll be working alongside the internal marketing team to assist with the following duties:

• Create content for recruitment advertising using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Canva
• Work with different media formats including print, digital and video
• Monitor and respond to messages on our social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Help to manage our company intranet
• Assist with running paid social media advertising campaigns
• Write creative copy for different audiences
• Carry out competitor analysis on social media and websites
• Schedule content using Hootsuite
• Support the wider business with marketing queries

Requirements of a Content Creator Apprentice:

• English and Maths GCSE grade 4+
• An interest in social media
• Strong IT skills and able to learn programs quickly
• Can write creatively
• An eye for design
• Good communication skills
• An understanding of Adobe Creative Suite would be preferred but not essential
• Able to work on their own initiative
