Role: Content Designer

Duration: 6 months initially (inside IR35)

Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid)

A Content Designer is a user-centered designer who specializes in content, usually words. They make things easy for people to understand and use by designing how information is structured. Working closely with an interaction designer, they use evidence to work out what content users need at every point in their journey.

Content Designers will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Be able to work at pace in an agile environment and from a digital perspective.
• Have exemplary spelling and grammar and be able to write and edit using a style guide and plain English.
• Be able to take a user-centered approach to content design and be able to explain design decisions and other ideas in a way that other people understand.
• Know how to plan user research and be able to use data and user research to inform content design decisions.
• Be able to share content ideas quickly through sketching or prototyping.
