Content Executive – fixed-term contract

About the role

We are looking for someone to join our busy digital content team temporarily for 10 weeks to help clear a back-log of visuals that need uploading onto our CMS.

This is a process-driven role suitable for someone who is methodical and organised in their approach, enjoys working with visual content, and importantly, possesses strong IT skills ideally including familiarity of photo or image-editing software.

The responsibilities

Reporting into the Head of Content, your responsibilities will include:

• quickly learning to navigating key software packages and our CMS (content management system)
• sifting, labelling and organising photographic content
• formatting visuals as needed
• uploading visual content onto our CMS
• reporting on progress and liaising with colleagues to resolve any queries
• other tasks as required

What you bring

• Excellent IT skills i.e. MS Office plus confidence to learn new systems and software
• Photoshop and Lightroom – ideal
• CMS experience (content management systems) – desirable
• Methodical and organised approach
• Attention to detail
• ‘Editorial’ sensibilities – previous sub-ed or editorial assistant experience - desirable

The location

Based in Letchmore Heath on the outskirts of Watford, we are operating a hybrid approach to working with a mix of home and office-based working. We are based in a very accessible location within the M25, just 20 miles from central London.
