Content Manager – Based Cardiff

Basic salary up to £55,000 depending on experience, excellent benefits including pension, an extra day off birthday, extra Christmas leave, free parking, and enhanced maternity pay

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Content Manager with a proven history in developing and implementing effective content strategies using SEO best practices.

As a Content Manager you will be enthusiastic about content and SEO and be a creative thinker with good problem-solving skills, whilst also providing innovative ideas that drives growth.

As a Content Manager, you will enjoy being “hands on” writing content yourself, with proven ability to motivate, mentor and lead a dynamic content team to drive innovative content campaigns, optimizing for peak performance, and playing a pivotal role in the company's growth.

As a Content Manager, you will have expertise in using Ahrefs, Search Console, Looker Studio and GA4 for content performance analysis and optimization.

Candidate Skills

• As a Content Manager you will identify actionable insights and make data-driven decisions to enhance content strategies.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• You will have a focus on creating content that generates leads for our core services, with a good understanding how to write content to perform well in google, and not social media or email and good understanding of intent and the role that this plays in keyword rankings.
• You will play a key role in the development and improvement of current content whilst being pivotal in the launch and execution of new services.

Duties

• You will ensure all content aligns with briefs and keyword intent, review content for SEO, and track performance using Search Console and Looker Studio.
• Identify and correct content team mistakes and enforce high-quality standards
• Collaborate with the Head of SEO on B2C content strategy and work with sales and partner support on B2B content strategy and lead, guide and motivate the content team to surpass their goals and targets ensuring a boost in lead generation from new and current content.
• Delegate tasks, provide guidance, monitor team performance, and conduct regular feedback meetings to ensure high productivity and address issues.
• Identify opportunities for content improvement, implement innovative ideas, and enhance content with our unique data.
• Create and optimize both new and existing content for high value guides.
