The role is strategic with the emphasis on delivering results in terms of increased audience engagement, predominantly via content. Whilst there is no wider campaign-based marketing team, the role will work closely with a marketing data specialist. As a business that makes its commercial income from companies using its media products, the right person must have an understanding of how to both gain and target the correct audiences, the success of the role will hinge on improving the quality of audiences for their products and ensuring they have audiences to sell media for, and existing media spend performs well.

  • Take the lead driving the success of their lead generation products through landing pages and promotion of client projects, as well as liaising with clients about their audience needs and expectations

The role will be heavily focused on data but supported on an analytical level with any raw manipulation so not hands-on, this said the successful candidate must still be competent at understanding the role of data in successful marketing and engagement with niche audiences, and able to leverage it to obtain the required results. Additionally you must be eager to learn, grow and develop your skillset whilst within the business.

A background in marketing in the publishing, media or events sector would be advantageous, especially where there is evidenced ability and success in creating personas and driving niche audiences.

This is a fantastic role with many benefits such as extensive home working (3/4 days a week), and a relaxed and friendly working environment. Candidates must be hard working self-starters, looking for a position that can offer real stability and great future growth opportunities. Given the fact the client base for the role is global, you may be required to attend shows from time to time.
