Annual Salary between £40,000 - £42,000 Dependent upon experience

Day to Day Duties

The purpose of the Continuous Improvement Engineer is to introduce new and more efficient ways of working which will reduce costs, increase quality, offer maximum customer satisfaction, and improve the overall efficiency of the business operation.

Daily Duties Include:

•  Work to understand the business, and to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
•  Improve the quality of products by implementing new quality processes and techniques.
•  Work collaboratively with internal departments to improve quality, production, and engineering processes.
•  Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the business, providing training on new techniques and processes.
•  Monitor trends and KPIs to ensure that the business is ahead of any required improvements and that improvement plans are place.

Essential Skills

• Relevant experience within a Continuous improvement role, preferably gained within the automotive sector.

Desirable Experience

•  Relevant qualification/certification, such as Lean Six Sigma.

What training is provided?

• Training will be provided 'on the job' starting on day 1.
