Continuous Improvement ManagerLocation: DublinSalary: £55,000 - £65,000Summary:Our client, a large nationwide distributor and wholesaler of food products, are looking to a add a Continuous Improvement Manager to their Supply Chain Performance Team. As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll be responsible for leading initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and drive Continuous Improvement throughout our warehouse and distribution operations. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to identify opportunities for optimisation, implement best practices, and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Continuous Improvement strategies to optimise warehouse and distribution processes, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics operations.
  • Analyse data, observe colleagues and identify root causes of inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to drive process improvements.
  • Utilise Lean Six Sigma methodologies and other Continuous Improvement tools to standardise processes, eliminate waste, and increase productivity.
  • Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement by providing training, coaching, and support to team members at all levels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Warehouse, Operations and Logistics teams.
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in warehouse and distribution management within the FMCG or similar industry, with a focus on Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies, with certification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions for process optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and lead improvement projects to successful implementation.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
