Redline Group are currently working with a leading electronics organisation with an international reach.
Their highly innovative product line coupled with diverse technical offers have allowed them to dominate the UK market space while continuously growing across EMEA and afar.
As the company continues to grow and enhance their product offerings, they are expanding their in-house development team and require the assistance of an experienced Contract Embedded Software Engineer to support a new product introduction project, targeted for deployment in 2024.
The role is based on-site in Hampshire, with excellent links to major road routes.

This role will not accept candidates operating via a PSC; you will therefore need to operate via an Umbrella company.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment


• Ensure traceability of code iterations through UML and SysML


• Design, develop, code, test and debug system software


• Review code and design independently and for the wider team


• Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources


• Integrate and validate new product designs to support NPI

Requirements - Contract Embedded Software Engineer, Hampshire

• Experience working as an Embedded Software Engineer within C


• Experience using both UML and SysML


• Experience in real-time computing


• Experience working within the fire detection industry is highly advantageous
