Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, who are a market leading Financial Services organisation. We are seeking a talented Project Manager to focus on various Digital and Business Change projects across the organisation, particularly looking after their workstream as a result of a Merger & Acquisition ( M&A ). The position is for a hands on Project Manager rather than a Programme Manager.
Role & Responsibilities:
Define project scope and deliverables that support business goals with senior management and stakeholders, ensuring risks identified and mitigated, resources identified, and preparatory work completed
Develop and maintains robust relationships with key business and IT stakeholders to ensure business analysis, development, test and implementation activities are visible and in line with agreed expectations
Managing third parties and ensuring quality of delivery
Draft and submit budget proposals, recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
Facilitate workshops for any aspect of the project including design, planning, tracking and problem resolution
Essential Skills & Experience:
Good influencing and presentation skills in all aspects of project management
Good awareness and application of PM tools
Strong experience with delivering a broad array of projects
Understanding of agile development in respect to IT delivery
Effective prioritisation and execution of tasks in a high-pressure environment is essential
Analytical and problem-solving capability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines
Qualifications in project and programme management (e.g. Prince2 practitioner)
Extensive project experience with proven track record of delivery
Contract Details:
£600 per day (inside IR35)
6 month contract
