The Job
As the Sales and New Business Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to broaden the company's customer base and solidify its market presence.
- Implement sales processes and choose technologies (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to enhance sales operations efficiency and customer engagement.
- Lead the formation of the Business Development Representative (BDR) team, defining roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics.
- Create training programmes to ensure the BDR team is proficient in sales methodologies and tools, effectively managing leads and converting opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Product Development teams to align sales strategies with market opportunities and product offerings.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies and approaches.
- Maintain adherence to industry best practices within the sales team and uphold high levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
- Provide insightful feedback and reports to senior management on sales performance, market insights, and strategic opportunities.
You
- Demonstrated success as a Sales Consultant or in senior sales positions with extensive experience in sales strategy, team development, and market analysis.
- Proficiency in sales technology platforms, particularly Salesforce or HubSpot, with a deep understanding of their application in optimising sales processes.
- Proven capability to lead and expand a sales team, particularly in the context of Business Development Representative (BDR) team growth.
