Structural Engineer (contract)

£42.00-£45.00 per hour

We have just taken on an exciting contract role within a well-established, dynamic and innovative design consultancy based in Ipswich.

Projects include : Retail, Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Education and more.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience working in UK consultancy
• Previous experience working on a range of building structures projects, ideally in the retail, industrial or commercial sectors
• Excellent client facing
• Excellent knowledge of both British & Euro-Codes of Practice for Design and H&S
• Proficient in use of Tekla

Your role will be varied as you will be taking responsibility for the design & running of your own projects and attending design & client meetings where necessary, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.

They need a capable, independent Structural Engineer who has experience design in all major construction materials.
