This role is based at our Herbert Parkinson Textile Factory in Darwen, Lancashire.
The salary range for this role is set at £23,500 - £30,900 per annum.
This is a permanent position.
About the role
This role is a great opportunity to join the Contract team at Herbert Parkinson and to be part of the John Lewis Partnership. The Contract team is responsible for providing exceptional products and end to end service to B2B customers in various sectors, by supplying soft furnishings made at Herbert Parkinson and outworkers. The team has ambitious growth targets and is an exciting, fast paced working environment. Within this role you will be completing non-project specific administrative tasks to support the project teams and the Contract management team. This includes organising events and meetings, collating information for the project teams, proofreading documents and any other tasks to support the team.
As a Contract Support Administrator you will be responsible for completing administrative tasks which support the growth of the Contract division.
Essential skills you’ll need
Experience in an administrative role
Good time management skills and experience of working to deadlines
Great organisational skills
A good eye for detail
Other skills you could bring
Experience working in the textiles industry
Experience working in the Contracts furnishings sector
Experience with events management / managing meeting agendas
