We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager / Contractor Network Manager for a national role within the insurance industry. This role will be to manage an established network of contractors carrying out insurance restoration & repairs to properties across the UK. You will also be responsible for developing this network to meet business needs.

This is a permanent position and ideally you will be located on or around the London / Kent area.

Job role and responsibilities

As Supply Chain Manager / Contractor Manager will have direct responsibility for the following;

• Actively managing & developing the relationship with the existing network of contractors & monitoring the insurance works they are carrying out
• Identify, assess and on-board new contractors for the network
• Performance management (against key metrics) and holding regular review meetings
• Training & close monitoring of new suppliers from on-boarding to sign-off
• Producing reports and MI and utilising data and feedback to drive continuous improvement with suppliers
• Working with all stakeholders for the swift resolution of complaints

What skills/experience will you need?

For this role, the successful Supply Chain Manager / Contractor Manager role will need to have the following skills/experience:

• Experience having worked for an insurance repairs contractor, claims management company or loss adjuster managing a network of contractors
• Excellent influencing and communication & relationship development skills
• Performance management experience
• Commercial awareness and financial skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data
• Solid maintenance/construction industry experience
• Ideally a relevant professional qualification (CIOB/RICS/CII) - not necessarily essential
• Confidence in reporting, auditing, and holding review meetings
• Strong IT/PC skills

Package details

In addition to the salary (£55-£65k depending upon experience) the Contractor Manager / Supply Chain Manager will receive a car allowance (or company car) and other company benefits.
