We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Public Sector Contractor, who are looking for a FM Contracts Manager based in Cornwall.
Our client a National facilities management contractor who oversees the maintenance of public sector buildings, specifically a PFI contract, is looking for a Contracts Manager with FM experience and background to oversee a contract covering Cornwall.
Day to Day:
- Day to day management of a contract maintaining and repairing public buildings commercial buildings, schools.
- Providing line management support to facilities managers working on contract
- Budget responsibilities, monitoring, procurement, and variations
- Establish and maintain sub contractor relationships
- Planned, reactive maintenance, hard FM, fabric and M&E
- Carryout compliance and H&S inspections
- Use of FM computer scheduling system
- Client focused role, on site and present building relationships.
- Recruitment, management, and training
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):
- Facilities management related qualification would be beneficial
- Proven experience of PFI contract management
- Experience of managing facilities management teams
- Experience of managing a large-scale public sector, PFI maintenance contract
- Experience of working with strict processes and procedure
- Experience of responsive repairs and being measured on response time
- Good technical building knowledge & understanding
- Computer literate Microsoft Office programmes,
- Full Driving licence
