Contracts Manager

Our client is a reputable roofing contractor which offers specialist roofing services across industrial, commercial, and residential projects. They specialise in a variety of roofing types such as slate, tiled, EPDM, liquid, and conservatory roof conversions.

Due to growth of the business, this company is currently looking to employ a Contracts Manager with previous experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of contracts, from negotiation to execution, ensuring that projects are completed successfully and in compliance with established terms and conditions.

(Contracts Manager) - Position Overview

• Negotiate contract terms and conditions, pricing, and other relevant provisions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee the entire contract management process, from the creation and modification of contracts to their execution and closeout.
• Identify and manage potential risks associated with contracts, working with stakeholders to mitigate and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence related to contractual agreements.
• Act as a liaison between our client and external parties involved in contracts, addressing inquiries, concerns, and discrepancies.
• Monitor contract performance, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and conditions.
• Work to resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise during the execution of projects , striving for mutually beneficial solutions.
• Vendor and Supplier Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other third-party entities.
• Provide regular reports to senior management regarding contract status, compliance, and performance.
• Make accurate estimates of goods and labour.

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in roofing, ideally with some knowledge of slate, tiled, EPDM, liquid, and conservatory roof conversions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
