Tempest Executive is currently recruiting for an interim Contracts Officer, covering Adult Social Care. You will be As a responsible for undertaking fee negotiation arrangements with Adult Social Care commissioned providers to ensure a fair cost is paid to enable a balance between affordability and quality of care. You will be responsible for tracking the revenue expenditure relating to inflationary fee uplifts for externally commissioned Adult Social Care providers and providing weekly and monthly updates on progress in agreeing fees. The role will be hybrid working 5 days a week with up to 2 days on site.
You must have the following experience:
- Experienced in managing care contracts with a particular emphasis on specialist residential placements in learning disability and mental health and/or Supported Living
- Understanding of Open Book accounting and Cost of Care exercises
- Experience in use of Care Cubed and use of Controcc would be helpful.
- Strong Negotiation skills and communication skills
- Experience in report writing and business case development.
- Confident with Microsoft 365 Excel
