My long-established ACS accredited client provides a portfolio of manned guarding services for a varied but prestigious client base in the Thames Valley and Home Counties with a particular emphasis towards customer service and contract retention. They are now looking to appoint a dedicated, highly organised and experienced Manager to be responsible for their Security Patrol & Response Team based at the company’s High Wycombe head office. Their Mobile Patrol Teams provide various security services to customers across the Thames Valley with most of the work undertaken in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire. The have a team of fourteen Patrol Officers and a fleet of eight vehicles that need management, supervision, and support to deliver our service effectively.
Please note – Applicants for this role must have at least two years management experience in the manned security industry, with a knowledge of how a patrol and response department works (although you may not have managed in this particular area of security).
You will be responsible for-:
*Ensuring all patrol routes are efficient and reviewed regularly
*That our Patrol Officers are correctly trained, wear our uniform in line with company policy, are in possession of the required equipment and keep our vehicle fleet in good condition
*Recruiting new Patrol Officers as required
*Appraising Patrol Officers on an annual basis
*Managing our patrol monitoring system and providing reports as and when required
*All aspects of customer liaison
*Undertaking surveys for new customers
*Collecting keys and erecting warning signs
*Quarterly key checks
*You will work closely with our Control Centre, which is based in High Wycombe, to ensure run sheets/work schedules are always up to date, and amended where required, and that the Patrol and Response Team are functioning to the highest levels possible.

The role is a Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 role– due to the nature of the industry and the role, there will always be a requirement to work other hours to ensure the activities of the business are met. As an example, this will require you to work late some days, arrive early and even some weekends where there is a need.
Salary £40k, annual discretionary profit share, a fully expensed company car is provided, employee discount/benefits scheme, Holiday is 20 days PA plus Bank Holidays, the pension is Stakeholder pension – employer 3% and employee 5%.
