Salary: £53,000

I am presently recruiting for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer position at an Industrial Engineering company. They are actively seeking a skilled Control and Instrumentation Engineer with extensive C&I experience to join the team. As a Control and Instrumentation Engineer, the selected candidate will play a vital role in the repair and maintenance of all C&I aspects at the Lakeside Energy from Waste Plant, while also providing support to other disciplines within their expertise.

Key responsibilities of the Control and Instrumentation Engineer include coordinating work activities with on-site contractors, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The role mandates a prompt response to plant and equipment breakdowns, both during normal working hours and outside regular working hours.

Skills required for the Control and Instrumentation Engineer:

Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience in Safe Systems of Work (PTW)

Proficient in Computerised Maintenance Management systems

Expertise in working with switching equipment.

Ability to work independently without supervision.

Effective coordination with contractors

Understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety impacts

Flexibility to operate across a wide range of work areas.

Computer literacy

Proficient in report writing on various matters.

Logical thinking and efficient problem-solving skills

Team player, contributing to team efforts and fostering team spirit.

Assistance to team members

Maintenance and enhancement of industrial relations through effective communication
