Control Engineer

We are very excited to be working alongside our technology development client based in Cambridge to source a Control Engineer. Our client is keen to expand their Control Engineering team and are looking for someone to join them on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing control algorithm adaptations for SMA control technology.
• Verify test reports of proprietary control algorithms.
• Dynamic Modedelling.
• Work with internal team divisions to ensure continuous SMA maintenance.
• Oversee and monitor conductions of system improvements.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Knowledge of electro-mechanical control systems.
• Experience with analysis and experimental design.
• Experience with test systems and controller development systems.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering, Physics or a similar field.
• Experience using Simulink, Simscape and MATLAB.
• Experienced with C#.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Attentive to detail.
