Control Systems Engineer

Medway (with national and international travel)

Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in Drive Technology?

Are you looking for a senior level opportunity with room for growth?

Duties for a Control Systems Engineer include:

• Programming of new product PLC systems with full configuration.
• Fault finding on existing PLC products.
• Continuous development of control system software & hardware.
• Travelling to customer sites, nationally and internationally, offering technical advice, support and fault finding
• Commissioning new, complex systems with the support of the wider Engineering team
• Any other duties required.

The successful Control Systems Engineer will have/be:

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with the configuration and programming of PLC systems.
• Knowledge of drive technology – Danfoss would be ideal
• A strong understanding of instrumentation and field equipment.
• Commissioned complex, relevant systems previously
• A strong communicator, able to work collaboratively
• Good management skills
