Control Panel Sales Engineer

Control Panel Sales Engineer required. Our client provides BMS control systems to a range of industry sectors including HVAC, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. They require a Control Panel Sales Engineer to sell predominantly to End Users & Contractors throughout the UK. Our client is a designer & manufacturer of Control Panels & requires a Control Panel Sales Engineer to join their expanding team.

Successful candidates will have experience in switchgear panels and variable speed drives. In addition, selling experience of systems and ideally an existing customer base but with the capability of picking up new business from a cold call when necessary to generate sales possibly in new markets such as end user business, Railway contractors, Specialist energy contractors and OEM clients.

Control Panel Sales Engineer Position Overview

• Competent and lucid at all levels and demonstrate an ability to be imaginative in their approach.
• Undertake estimating and quote all of their own enquiries and assist with enquiries given to them.
• Work to tight deadlines in order to meet client proposal
• Meet pre-defined sales/profit targets
• Provide daily / weekly reports detailing customer attendance, sales forecasts etc.
• Daily use of CRM and Microsoft applications
• Manage a weekly diary and be in regular contact with the director to mutually agree strategies and performance
• Occasional visits to carry out surveys on construction sites.

Control Panel Sales Engineer Position Requirements

Top end of the salary:

• Experience in electrical single and three phase low voltage power / controls for commercial / industrial applications.
• IP / computer networking experience
• Electrical knowledge of 400v systems: 3 phase 400v motors, 1 phase motors -
• Knowledge of switchgear motor control centre's / Control Panels
• Have the ability to work alone and also be a team player with your peers.

NOTE: This position would also suit a Junior Engineer with only 1/2 years experience wishing to develop their career further (at the lower salary range)

Control Panel Sales Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £25,000- £50,000 DOE
• Working hours: 40 hours a week
• Company Car + fuel card or Car allowance
• Company Laptop and mobile

• Holiday package: 20 days + Bank holiday
• Remote working with office visits once a week
