The Opportunity
Due to successful project expansion, an incredible opportunity has become available for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our leading engineering consultancy at the forefront of a sustainable future.
The Role
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will provide support to the control system software detailed design development for the project.
This role has been deemed inside of IR35
Your duties and responsibilities will be

• As a Control Systems Engineer, you will review of Front-end/Preliminary design requirements documentation which includes the following but not limited to: Project Functional Specification, Control Philosophy, CE&I Basis of Design, MHDs, EFDs, Process description documents, applicable client standards etc.
• Understanding of applicable standards (e.g. ES_2479) and defining user requirements for Control Systems including verification and validation.
• Understanding and defining of user requirements for Control Systems.
• Production of control system detailed design documentation e.g. System specific requirements specifications.
• Design specification with respect to integration of associated system interfaces.
• Liaison with Internal and External Project Stakeholders to ensure system specific requirements are captured in accordance with project functional requirements:
  • CE&I Lead Engineer
  • Control System Group Representative (OTG)
  • Centre of Expertise Capability 
  • Multi-Design and Operations Project Team etc.

You will have the following qualifications and experience 

• A degree of HNC relevant to this discipline or the ability to demonstrate similar.
