One of the UK s leading manufacturers of safety Control Systems now has a requirement for a Controls Engineer with the ability to develop and specify Control Systems.
Control Systems Engineer - Lead
£40,000 - £50,000 + benefits including pension, BUPA healthcare & free gym membership
South Coast based. Ref: 22850
Control Systems Engineer The Role:
PLC & HMI programming using Ladder Logic and industrial communication protocols
TCP/IP & Modbus HMI animated graphical representation programming
Occasional site visits for commissioning
Control panel testing and electrical fault finding for bespoke projects
Providing remote support for Commissioning Engineers through TeamViewer
AutoCAD for electrical design
Control Systems Engineer The Person:
Minimum HNC qualified, with a background preferably of 5 years experience of industrial automation
Previous experience with Schneider PLC, HMI and Drives would be beneficial however Rockwell, Siemens or Mitsubishi is acceptable
Must be innovative and have a proven track record of the design and development of machinery automation projects, be a team player and have the desire to succeed
You will be joining a business who have experienced an excellent period of growth and solid plans to almost double turnover in the next three years. They are keen to support Engineers in continued training with financial support offered.
Benefits include pension, BUPA after 12 months. Holidays start at 23 days, rising one day per year to maximum of 30, along with access to an on-site gym. You will work a 40 hour week overtime is not worked here. Staff are not requested to work any additional hours in order to maintain a healthy work life balance.
