Salary- Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant (Temporary)
- Location: Battle
- Per hour: £14.00 - £16.00 (DOE)
- Working Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm / Monday to Friday
- Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
HRGO Recruitment are seeking an organised and self-sufficient Temporary Conveyancing Assistant to join our clients leading law firm in Battle. The successful candidate will be required to support the Department Manager with conveyancing completions, ensuring they are seamless and completed within a timely manner.
Our clients have an established and loyal client base and take pride in excellent level of service provided to all new and existing clients of the firm. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring continuous satisfaction levels.
Main Duties:
- Dealing with Conveyancing files from exchange of Contracts through to Completion.
- Using a case management system to process and progress cases
- Setting up and dealing with completions, inclusive of photocopying, scanning, faxing, Printing, filing and collating documentation in relation to contracts, leases and transfers.
- To ensure that all payments such as BACS, Bank Transfers, Faster Payments and cheques are set up correctly and Client Account is never allowed to overdraw, this includes setting up payments on the Bank.
- To create bills and statements for clients.
- To ensure that all authorised invoices are dealt with in a timely manner.
- To deal directly with Clients when receiving payment by cash or cheque.
- Providing general administration and organisation of paperwork to support conveyancing transactions.
Role Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in demanding circumstances
- Good time management and ability to work under strict deadlines
- Can demonstrate persistence and commitment to completing tasks and objectives
- Strong attention to detail
- Conveyancing experience (desirable not required)
- Working knowledge of accounts desirable not required)
- Previous experience dealing with customer enquiries
