Job Description:We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal to join a prestigious law firm. As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting the conveyancing department in handling property transactions and ensuring a smooth process for their clients.
Responsibilities:- Assist solicitors in the conveyancing process, including drafting legal documents, conducting property searches, and preparing contracts.- Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in property transactions to gather necessary information and documentation.- Manage and maintain accurate records of all conveyancing transactions.- Coordinate and schedule property inspections, surveys, and valuations.- Assist in the preparation of completion statements and invoices.- Handle post-completion matters, including registration of property transfers and dealing with Land Registry requirements.- Stay updated on relevant legislation and regulations related to conveyancing.- Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed.
Requirements:- Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role.- Solid understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal procedures.- Proficient in using conveyancing software and MS Office Suite.- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- High level of professionalism and integrity.
