AddressGMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with an award-winning residential property Legal Firm, located in Gloucester. We are supporting their recruitment for a Paralegal to join their Conveyancing team on a full time, permanent contract.
This position is working Monday – Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm and you will receive a highly competitive salary, based on experience.
We are looking for enthusiastic Paralegals with experience of conveyancing and handling a variety of sale and purchase transactions with the support and supervision of an experienced, qualified Fee Earner and supported by wider team of Fee Earners, Paralegals and Legal Assistants.
Paralegal main duties:
· Handling your own caseload of sale & purchase files under supervision
· Updating clients and introducers on the progress of matters
· Raising and responding to enquiries, interrogating responses, and providing detailed reports to clients as well as dealing with pre-exchange and completion issues.
· You will have knowledge of the sales, purchase and re-mortgage process and be comfortable running a mixed caseload of files with appropriate supervision.
Paralegal required skills and experience:
· Have experience of working within a law firm environment with prior residential conveyancing or wider property exposure.
· Have previous experience of working within a service driven team environment.
· Be competent with operating IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Have a high level of attention to detail.
· Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
· Be driven to deliver all tasks in a timely manner and have proven experience of working under pressure.
