About Our Client

Our Client’s Care Home provides care for up to 56 people with enduring Mental Health problems, Dementia and old age.

About the role

For this role, you will be cooking for our residents providing traditional home cooked meals. It is essential that you are confident in homely cooking recipes, used to cooking for large groups of people and also able to cater for different dietary requirements.

Requirements

• Cook/Chef experience within a care home
• Stock rotation and ordering
• Budgeting
• EHO Knowledge and requirements
• Cleaning Schedules
• Completing Documentation
• Practical working knowledge of food hygiene (training provided)
• Excellent time keeping

Hours: 42 per week

Salary: To be discussed at interview – based on experience
