SalaryRemedy Tutors are looking for experienced, flexible tutors to join our team based in Beckenham. These children will be high SEN and will need a tutor who has a vast background in working with SEN students and can deal with needs such as ADHD and ASD and behavioural issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in Bromley up to 15 hours a week per student.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning styles, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Create and implement personalised lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student engagement and understanding.
- Assess and monitor student's progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student's educational development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
Requirements:
- A preferred background in and SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience, with a strong understanding of differentiated instruction.
- Proficient in teaching Core Subjects to students of various age groups and ability levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and establish a positive learning environment.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and needs.
