Corporate Chef – Michelin Star Restaurant Group

Location: Napa County

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 + medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO

The Company

Our Client, a Three Michelin Star restaurant, are looking to expand their Culinary Team! We are assisting them in their search a Corporate Chef to join their culinary team and infuse it with their creativity, passion, and ambition!

Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Chef:

• Manage the restaurant’s kitchen team and back of house operations alongside the Chef/ Owner
• Develop menus to reflect the restaurant’s concept
• Ensure guests have a 5 Star Experience, prepare and develop exceptional dishes in line with quality standards and work closely with the restaurant management team to ensure a fine dining service
• Manage and lead the culinary team, mentor and train team members continuously.
  Coordinate with HR to undertake performance reviews with back of house employees
• Be financially savvy, assist with budgeting, forecasting and inventory management

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in a comparable position, preferably in a fine dining experience
• Previous Michelin experience is an asset
• Exceptional leadership skills and ability to hold your own in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about providing a 5 Star guest experience
• Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
