Job description

Business Manager – Corporate Communications

Agratas are seeking an experienced Business Manager to support the delivery of one of the largest ever investments in the UK automotive sector and support with delivering holistic communication activities via earned, owned and shared media that bring Agratas’ strategy, growth and impact to life, and to address challenges through engagement with external and internal audiences.

The Corporate Communications Business Manager will contribute to strengthening the long-term prosperity of the team and the company by planning, coordinating and cohering a holistic Corporate Communications strategy. Their responsibilities will serve to bring Agratas’ brand, growth and impact to life, to address challenges through engagement with external and internal audiences, and to engage and influence multiple political stakeholders across UK and EU governments. The role would suit a self-motivated, delivery-focused candidate, with excellent organisation and communication skills, and a keen interest in and understanding of the battery, automotive and/or energy sector.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

· Coordinate Corporate Communication’s team activity and output to help deliver the company’s strategic objectives

· Efficient management and coordination of Corporate Communications agency partners

· Create and manage a multi-channel content calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery across Channels.

· Act as a first point of contact with external and internal stakeholders to support Head of Global Corporate Communications and the wider Corporate Communications team

· Support the coordination of Agratas’ engagement across UK and EU trade association and membership organisations (e.g. SMMT, Make UK, etc.)

· Produce high quality presentations for internal and external senior level engagement

· Act as a Corporate Communications gatekeeper to effectively manage our reputation, identify and mitigate risk and ensure consistent, precise and accurate messaging in line with our purpose, mission and company culture

Essential Experience

· Excellent communication, writing, and editorial skills

· Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines

· Ability to integrate into a demanding environment with ease and establish strong working relationships with partners internally and externally

· High level of discretion and confidentiality

· Practical experience in project planning and management

· High level of IT competence is required in programmes such as Excel, Word and Power Point

· Ability to analyse content performance and use data to make informed decisions
