Are you an experienced Corporate Crime & Investigations lawyer looking for a new opportunity? Join our Corporate Crime & Investigations Team (part of the firm's Dispute Resolution Unit), where you'll have access to top-calibre clients, with real responsibility and ownership from day one.
The Opportunity
Working closely with Band 1 ranked (Chambers) Guy Bastable, you will advise corporates, and their boards and directors, on business-critical issues concerning Corporate Crime, financial crime and regulatory enforcement. Our team specialises in crisis management, corporate and director liability, undertaking corporate internal investigations, engaging with regulators and defending complex investigations and prosecutions.
You will have good experience in corporate/financial crime and/or regulatory enforcement, ideally with experience of advising corporates in relation to large scale investigations and prosecutions.
You'll benefit from a varied workload, including serious fraud & money laundering; bribery & corruption; sanctions & export controls; corporate manslaughter, health & safety, inquests & inquiries, , and the recovery of the proceeds of crime (restraint & confiscation; seizure & forfeiture; unexplained wealth & civil recovery).
