Form of workEventus Legal is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to bring their expertise and join an expanding boutique law firm based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This is a permanent, full-time role is based in the firm’s Mansfield office with hybrid working options available. This is in a semi-rural location, so your own transport is essential, with free onsite parking.
Role Responsibilities
The incoming Corporate Lawyer will have a proven track record in corporate law. This individual will be an invaluable asset in handling a wide range of legal matters, your experience and dedication to providing expert legal counsel will support the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional service.
You will be working alongside the Managing Partner, providing support and advice to private clients with a typical workload including:
- Business sales (80% sellers, 20 % purchasers)
- Share sales
- Reorganisations
- Corporate governance
- Some investment work
Person specification
Applications are sought from experienced Corporate Lawyers at a crucial time when the firm is experiencing an increase in the demand for corporate legal services. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years PQE with a focus on delivering tailored and strategic solutions. Applications from candidates with less than 3 years PQE can be considered if you have experience as a Paralegal in a corporate department. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

- Drive and ambition to grow and shape the business
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Collaborative with the firm
- Strong communicator
- Organised with excellent time management skills
- Ability to manage your caseload with minimal supervision
