Job description

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our ambitious Corporate Partnerships team to deliver a range of strategic and commercial six and seven figure charity partnerships.
You'll be responsible for delivering strong, mutually beneficial relationships with partners, identifying opportunities to maximise the value, both financial and non–financial, in year and in future years.
You'll play a key account management role in the team, bringing companies and their employees closer to our cause, ensuring that nature, history and beauty can be enjoyed by everyone, forever.
What it's like to work here
This is an exciting time to be joining the Corporate Partnerships team at the National Trust as we build up our new climate change and nature propositions and embark on an ambitious 3–year strategy to double our income.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40–60% of your working week with travel expected approximately once per fortnight. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing
You'll have the opportunity to support on the delivery of key national partnerships, including strategic and commercial opportunities as well as employee fundraising, cause–related marketing, and high–profile national campaigns.
Using your proven track record to deliver, maximise and grow partnerships, you'll drive value as well as manage projects and create inspiring communications. Supported by the Senior Partnerships Manager, you'll drive excellence in account management and be an important ambassador to ensure our partners feel engaged and inspired through their support of the National Trust.
Who we're looking for

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• An experienced Partnership Manager – you will have a proven track record in managing and retaining complex, multi–year six or seven figure charity partnerships.
• Ability to build strong relationships – you will proactively lead, develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and drive value from your portfolio of partners
• A proven ability to meet targets – you will have a track record of delivering, growing and retaining partnerships, increasing income and engagement with the cause
• Negotiation skills – you'll be a successful negotiator, able to influence others to reach desired outcomes
• Time management and prioritisation skills – you'll plan, monitor and implement multiple concurrent projects and initiatives, identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities to meet agreed objectives and deadlines.
• A creative problem solver with a growth mindset – you can spot opportunities and use your initiative to create compelling cases for support, introducing new fundraising ideas, events and activities into partnerships to increase income, engagement and longevity
• verbal and written communication skills – you understand, interpret and present complex information in a persuasive and accurate way and are comfortable with preparing and delivering presentations.
• Business insight – you will keep abreast of commercial, marketing, and third sector best practice to contribute to high standards across the team.
