Job description

The Partnerships Administrator works with the National Partnerships Manager and Partnerships Co-ordinator to support the Partnerships department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support on delivery of RABI’s mental health training, working with RABI’s specialist partner to co-ordinate bookings, monitor and evaluate training and reporting, and complete invoicing.
  • Responsible for administration for the partnerships department.
  • Manage the Partnerships email inbox, dealing and distributing enquiries where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with other members of RABI staff – working closely with teams such as service delivery, operations and communications.
  • Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s health and safety within the workplace.  Follow safeguarding and H&S training received and alert RABI to any serious risks.
  •  Support the team with proposals, agreements and written documents as required.
  • Support the Partnerships team in arranging attendance at shows and events, including large receptions at key national shows.
  • Act as a representative of RABI at events.
  • Working with RABI colleagues to collect and track data on the effectiveness of partnerships.
  • Perform any other reasonable task as required by the charity. 

Person Specification:

Essential

  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Experience of developing excellent relationships and working collaboratively.
  • Ability to represent RABI at events and in meetings.
  • Good research skills and proactive approach to learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Excellent communicator, including face-to-face, in writing and via remote communications.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise workload against deadlines and agreed timetables.
  • High computer literacy skills including the use of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Ability to travel throughout England and Wales and work unsocial hours on occasion.
  • Affinity with the goals and objectives of RABI.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Desirable

  • Farming background or knowledge and understanding of the farming community.
  • A network of contacts in the agricultural sector.
  • Experience of working in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience of developing and delivering presentations.
