Job description

HELP US END YOUTH HOMELESSNESS

The role:

We are seeking to fill a key role within the Fundraising and Engagement Directorate at Depaul UK. In this exciting and varied job, you will play a pivotal role in our aims to build relationships and grow income from corporates and community grants from across Greater Manchester, South Yorkshire and the Northeast. You will also work collaboratively with our Public Engagement Team to maximise income from local faith-based organisations and community groups across the region.

As the Corporate & Community Engagement Fundraiser, you will be an outgoing and proactive fundraiser with exceptional relationship building skills to help Depaul achieve our goals of growing sustainable income, reaching and engaging new and existing audiences, and delivering outstanding supporter experience - ultimately to support more young people facing homelessness across the UK.

About you

You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.

  • Demonstrable track record of working with and achieving financial targets.
  • Previous relevant experience of the Greater Manchester region in which you are applying for the role of Corporate & Community Engagement Coordinator.
  • Proven experience of networking and of developing and stewarding excellent personal relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to make a compelling case for support in writing and in person.
  • Understanding of income channels that could be utilised within a corporate and community fundraising setting.
  • An excellent local knowledge of the region.
