Corporate Receptionist

One of our excellent finance clients based in the City of London have a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced individual who loves a Front of House environment and has extensive experience in a Corporate Receptionist role. This opportunity could be a permanent position for the right candidate.

This is an ongoing temporary role on a week-by-week basis, working Monday to Friday, on an hourly pay of £12.00 to £13.50 per hour dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Great customer service skills
