Salary: Band 7, £45,942 - £52,573 per annum, dependent on experience, plus 5% Outer London Fringe Allowance (capped at a maximum of £2,056 per annum).
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our successful challenge events team. You'll be leading the delivery of a wide range of challenge events. From our own events: including March in March, D-Day Challenge, Race to Remember, a number of virtual events and many other 3rd party events and our fundraisers own fantastic DIY challenges.
About Us:
Combat Stress is the UK's leading mental health charity for veterans. For over a century we've been helping former servicemen and women deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today we provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues related to their military service. We provide a range of community, outpatient and residential mental health services to veterans with complex mental health problems. We provide services in-person, and via phone and online.
About the role:
You will lead the Challenge Events team to deliver and proactively grow our portfolio of in-house, third party and DIY events running to maximise participation and income whilst ensuring we give our supporters the best experience possible when taking part in any event for Combat Stress.
You will work closely with the Head of Challenge and Community Fundraising to develop the strategy, identify, and explore new fundraising events and current trends, from conception, delivery and stewardship of our participants journeys on these events.
You will be responsible for line managing the Challenge Events Team.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment which is fun and rewarding. You'll need to be able to prioritise a sometimes demanding and shifting workload, work well under pressure.
You must have previous experience working in challenge events, line management experience and excellent project management skills.
This role is subject to a DBS check.
