This is a highly regulated public sector organisation operating in Liverpool City Centre.
Your new role
The role involves reviewing, redesigning and implementing an overall risk management framework for the organisation, keeping it up to date, coordinating and promoting good risk management practice.
You will be providing advice on application and interpretation of financial regulations and standing orders and the financial procedures and practices.
You will be helping to maintain and monitor accurate records of risk management and required actions, including the production of regular reports for all relevant stakeholders.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Professional qualification or equivalent e.g. Institute of Risk Management (IRM),
- Proven track record of transforming risk management in the public sector,
- Experience of successfully working with senior managers and stakeholders to develop and deliver organisational-wide risk management frameworks, strategies and/or policies,
- Experience of interacting with, positively influencing and briefing senior stakeholders,
What you\'ll get in return
You will be offered a 6-month contract outside IR35 with hybrid working (Liverpool city centre and working from home).
