Are you the right person for the job?
Hold suitable Cosmetic Chemist qualifications (for example Cosmetic Chemistry Degree)Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation development and compliance, with a preference for hair care/hair styling experienceDemonstrate excellent organisational and documentation skillsExhibit strong numeracy and analytical capabilitiesBe a self-motivated individual eager to contribute to a collaborative and innovative work environmentAs a Cosmetic Chemist at Excel GS Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the development, formulation, and quality control of our exciting range of products. Your responsibilities will include:
PIF Compilation: Ensure accurate and comprehensive product information filesStability Testing: Conduct in-house stability tests and provide detailed reportsFormulation Development: Collaborate with existing and potential customers to enhance and create formulations based on specific briefsProduct Development Upscaling: Play a key role in transitioning products from development to full-scale productionQC Testing: Perform quality control tests on finished products, maintaining meticulous records and lab booksRegulatory Compliance: Possess a solid understanding of Cosmetic compliance under UK and EU regulationsWhat can you expect in return?
