Description
As the Cost Recovery and Efficiency Lead you will,
- Lead the development and implementation of Cost Recovery strategies.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements within the department.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their Cost Recovery needs and challenges.
- Regularly review and update Cost Recovery processes and guidelines.
- Provide training and support to staff on Cost Recovery practices.
- Managing a small team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of Cost Recovery efforts.
- Report on Cost Recovery performance and suggest areas for improvement.
- Oversee and manage budget management and forecasting for delivery of services
- Manage the reporting and month end processes
Profile
A successful Cost Recovery and Efficiency Lead should have:
- A full Accountancy Qualification- CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA/ CIPFA
- Managed Cost Recovery previously
- Worked in a technical accountant role previously and have been involved in financial and management account processes
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
- An eye for detail and a knack for spotting inefficiencies.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant tools.
