Main duties and responsibilities:-
Cost Draftsman Firm Established in 2023 based in Bootle L20, and are offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our team due to continued business growth.
We are looking for a diligent, confident, self-motivated and experienced person to fill the role of Law Costs Draftsman.
About you:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of Cost Drafting experience
• Experience in drafting bills of costs for Housing Disrepair and Japanese Knotweed Claims
• Able to demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills including oral and written presentation skills
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: £Negotiable dependent upon experience

Responsibilities to include:-

• To prepare bill of costs for detailed assessment
• To prepare cost claims for submission to opposing solicitor and the Courts
• To undertake negotiations
• To prepare Statement of Costs for summary assessment
• To liaise and advise with fee earners and support staff in relation to any costs related query
• Undertaking other duties reasonably required by partners or senior management
